a note from the owner
San Diego Dog Walker
As a pet parent myself, I know what a huge decision it is to trust a stranger with your fur kid as well as allowing them access to your home.  When creating Tails 2 Trails I knew it was essential to provide exceptional service in the following areas:

Reliability - I treat every service booked very seriously and make it my mission to not miss an appointment.  I am readily available by phone for last minute bookings or concerns.

Transparency - every service is tracked via GPS so you'll know where we walked and for how long.  Never worry about a stranger in your home.  If there is going to be anyone other than me checking in your pet I will give sufficient notice and provide an opportunity to meet them.

Flexibility - we know how schedules can easily change and we keep our service area small so we can accommodate almost any last minute request.

Convenience - scheduling is easy through our online portal, but feel free to schedule via e-mail or text if that's your preference.  We automatically process credit cards every Sunday so you never have to worry about payment.

Tails 2 Trails is not a part-time/hobby business for me.  It's a business that allows me to work for myself while spending the day with a variety of pets, each with their own personality.  I put my heart and soul into this business and I thank all my clients who has helped Tails 2 Trails grow.  With their support I've been able to live out my dream job in sunny San Diego AND am able to donate 5% of my profits to the local Humane Society.  I hope you consider using Tails 2 Trails as your go-to pet care provider, I'll make it my mission not to disappoint you.

why we dontate

San Diego Dog Walker
streusel was my first pet as an adult.  I had wanted my own pet for a long time but I finally felt ready for the responsibility in November 2014.
I was visited the Escondido Humane Society in search of my first furbaby.  I remember seeing Streusel (then named Stossol) looking at me while sitting in a cubby.  I cautiously reached in and felt his soft coat.  After a few pets I left but he jumped out for more.  He was a big, fluffy, sweet boy.  My decision was made!

pearl is a sweet old lady who I met at the Gaines Street Humane Society in November 2015.  She jumped right in my lap and made herself at home.  Even though she was an older cat than I was looking for (estimated to be around 12), I couldn't say no.  She was extremely skinny but it was obvious she was good natured and just needed a loving home to help her thrive.  And thrive she has!
Streusel and Pearl have enriched my life more than I expected and I owe it all to the generosity of the Humane Society.  I'm amazed at the resources the Humane Society invests in so many animals every day.  It is a little unreal that they practically give most of their animals away.  I choose to donate to the Humane Society because it's a way I can give thanks for taking care of my kids before I could find them.

When you choose Tails 2 Trails you not only receive reliable, trustworthy care for your own pet(s), but you also help countless other animals who are waiting for their new homes.
